Fares are kept as low as possible and reflect distance travelled in a straight line from your door to your destination – not the route we take. We will always try to fill the bus so, you may be on it for a while before getting to your destination – depending on traffic we aim for this to be no longer than 30 minutes.
You’ll pay your fare to the driver when you get on the bus – change is given. We are not allowed access the concessionary fare scheme so, unfortunately your Now Card (bus pass) is not valid on Community Transport. Our minimum fare is £1.50 single.
If you are going shopping at your local super market, we aim to give you between an hour (60 minutes) and an hour and a half (90 minutes) before taking you home again.
If you are coming into Preston, our main drop off point is our office at Preston Mobility Centre – which is also where the Shopmobility service in Preston is based, although we can drop you elsewhere if you wish. We aim to give you at least two hours in Preston.
Our drivers will help you with your bags if you wish.
